Macaron Day TO ( Le Jour Du Macaron)

Mark your calendars: On the first day of Spring, March 20, 2012 J'Adore Cakes Co will be par of  Le Jour du Macaron ( Macaron Day) in Toronto!  Created four years ago through a collaboration between renowned pastry chef Pierre Hermé and other members of the prestigious Association Relais Desserts, le Jour du Macaron raises money and awareness for the charity Federation des Maladies Orphelines. This year, owner of La Bamboche has decided to bring this tradition to Toronto, collaborating with several shops throughout the city that offer macarons.   

To receive your macaron, pop into any participating patisserie and simply mention you are celebrating Macaron Day TO. Participating locations will provide one scrumptious macaron per customer at no cost, with quantities limited by location.   J'Adore Cakes Co.., La Bamboche, Butter Avenue, Patisserie La Cigogne and Petite Thuet are among the partipants who will offer complimentary macarons.

25 percent of all additional macaron purchased on this day will be donated to the Red Door Family Shelter. www.reddoorshelter.ca
